Know More
Founded in 1998, Vistarus is a registered NPO and NGO that needed funding to care for people in need. That is why we started the recycling of plastic to generate funds for the Mission Station. We are located in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Our vision is to help people who are going through hardship, abuse or drug related problems.
The recycling of plastic started on a small scale with only sorted and granulated plastic, but started growing rapidly as the need to help people became greater. We specialize mainly in polypropylene and are extruding +- 50tons a month.
We have local contracts with General Motors, Ford, Good Year and other companies. Our factory sort granulate and extrude polypropylene, L.D., H.D. in 1000 kg bulk bags, and can produce up to 30 tons per month. We have 100 tons of Polypropylene 5 at R8.50 ($ 0.64) per kilogram for sale - rand to dollar.
This is a project that started 12 years ago and we are well known in the Port Elizabeth area. If you are interested in supporting our project, or in buying our products, please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information and/or samples. Thank you for reading this and may God bless your day.
